Restaurant Kochi

Excellent roadside restaurant. The interior is really cool - a mix of old school American family restaurant and Japanese farmhouse. There doesn’t seem to be an English menu, but the Japanese menu has photos and the staff were very nice. I had the “Nankoku Tosa Omrice” set lunch for just over ¥1000. As I am vegetarian I had it without the seared katsuo bonito pieces on top. There were lots of local ingredients inside, including the local Hidaka area’s famous tomatoes. The dish came out steaming hot and by the time I’d finished the last pieces of rice were nice, crispy and charred. The set came with a small side salad and non-alcoholic sparkling drink.

The menu was abundant, but we ate zaru udon, beefsteak and dessert. I thought Zaru Udon was delicious and delicious. Beefsteak is normal. Cakes were enriched and we received Mont Blanc and hot lemon tea. It seemed that it wasn't easy to do, but I was surprised that the tea cup was warmed. The inside of the store is so dark that jazz is flowing from the speaker in the pose and calms down.
